Traditional Stucco Applications
A time-tested building material, stucco has long been a preferred choice among builders and homeowners. The process generally involves the following layers:

• Water-resistant paper to protect water-sensitive sheathing or framing
• A wire mesh or lath that the stucco or plaster adheres to, called stucco mixture (typically a mix of Portland cement, sand, lime, and water)
• Acrylic finish coat

Traditional stucco has a high impact and water resistance, and is used in all climates, including locations throughout Canada.
